Fuel For A Mindful World

Over two billion internal combustion engine vehicles operate around the world every single day, burning fossil fuels in the form of gasoline and diesel fuel, polluting the earth’s atmosphere and contributing to climate change. It is imperative that solutions are identified and integrated to transition us from our dependence on fossil fuels as quickly as possible.

There are a number of significant initiatives being undertaken around the world to decarbonize the transportation industry, including passenger cars, trucks and urban transportation systems, to name only a few. Electric- and hydrogen-powered vehicles are the two leading alternatives being considered. Both are cost-intensive and highly problematic, especially when scaling to the levels needed globally. New innovations are needed.

Most people don’t realize it, but ammonia can be used as a fossil fuel replacement in gasoline, diesel and other fossil fuel burning engines and turbines. In fact, NASA’s X-15 aircraft, which set speed and altitude records in the 1950s, was fueled by ammonia.

By using a straightforward conversion process, FuelPositive’s Green Ammonia could be a suitable fuel for any vehicle on the road today, with no CO2 emissions. We are talking to a number of groups who specialize in alternative fuel conversion kits for internal combustion engines today and we expect there will be many low-cost, industry-endorsed solutions in the near future.

FuelPositive simplifies things even further by supplying smaller and scalable green ammonia production systems where the actual end-user consumption of the fuel takes place.

We can visualize a model where trucking companies use FuelPositive’s onsite, containerized Green Ammonia production systems situated within their existing refuelling depots.

For urban transit and delivery fleets, the FuelPositive Green Ammonia technology can be installed strategically throughout their distribution and route networks.

Gas stations could be retrofitted to have FuelPositive onsite, containerized Green Ammonia production systems installed on site to produce and store clean fuel 24/7, in a process similar to refuelling a gasoline-, diesel- or propane-powered vehicle today.

Likewise, FuelPositive’s production systems could supply fuel for air, rail and marine travel.

The opportunities are endless. When the FuelPositive Green Ammonia technology is installed with access to a renewable energy source, carbon-free fuel can be available anywhere the modular and scalable FuelPositive system is located.
